Calvin Beasley

Calvin Beasley, age 55 of Cottage Grove, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 31, 2015.

A memorial service will be 6 pm, Wednesday, November 4, 2015, with visitation starting at 4 pm until the time of service at All Saint's Lutheran Church, 8100 Belden Blvd S., Cottage Grove.

Calvin was born November 9, 1959 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Albert and Phyllis (Menter) Beasley. He grew up in St. Paul Park and graduated from Park High School in 1978. Calvin was a roofer for many years and was an active member of the Cottage Grove Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, agate collecting and playing Yahtzee.

Calvin is survived by his fiancé, Teri Langness; children, Matt (Angie) Langness, Jenny (Dan) Iverson, Briana (significant other Mike Benner) Beasley; grandchildren, Ella, Nora, Alexis, Joey, Carly and Micah; mother, Phyllis Beasley; siblings, Roxanne Beasley, Albert Beasley, Donna Gainor and their families; sister-in-law, Lois Beasley and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Albert; brother, Robert and sister, Debbie Baker.
