Dennis Roemer

Dennis Roemer, age 67 of Cottage Grove, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at Bethesda Hospital in St. Paul.
Dennis was born May 6, 1948 to Donald & Virginia Roemer in Wabasha, Minnesota. He grew up in Wabasha and graduated from St. Felix High School Class of 66. Dennis went onto to Winona State and completed his undergraduate degree in 1970. He continued his education at the University of Minnesota earning his Masters in Education. Dennis taught at Oakland Junior High in Stillwater for 35 years. He enjoyed his years teaching Debate, Art, and coaching Tennis. In 2007 he retired and focused his time drawing, gardening, reading, working on graphic design and photography.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 20 years Ronda; his children Adam(Sarah), Kim Koehler, Margie(Jeff)Clark; grandchildren Tyler, Myah, Elin; sister Carol(Gary) Rice; numerous other relatives, friends and all the people he touched throughout his lifetime. A Celebration of Dennis's life will be held from 4-7 Wednesday, December 9th at Kok Funeral Home (7676 80th St. S. Cottage Grove.
