Greg Brysky

Sgt. Greg Brysky passed away peacefully in his home with his family at his side on October 23, 2014. Greg was diagnosed with a very severe form of brain cancer in July of 2013 (Grade 4 Glioblastoma) and went through chemo and radiation treatment.

He honorably served with Cottage Grove Police Department for 23 years, starting in 1990 as a part time officer, full time officer in 1991 and was promoted to sergeant in 1999. He retired from law enforcement December 17, 2013.

Over the past week Greg's condition deteriorated rapidly, he went into hospice at home and was cared for by his family and friends.

Greg was a loving husband to Lisa for 28 years; proud father of Jess and Joe; brother to Jackie (Al) Weyand, Clemens (Carole), and Patricia; son-in-law to Donald and Gayle Korth; brother-in-law to Donald G. Korth, John (Nichole) Korth, and Jason (Brenda) Korth; and his four legged companions, Dozer and Hunter; as well as many extended family and friends.

Visitation 4-8 pm, Monday, October 27, 2014 at Crossroads Church, 5900 Woodbury Dr., Woodbury. Funeral service 11:30 AM, Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Crossroads Church with visitation resuming one hour prior to the service. Interment at Cottage Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
