2017 "Grief Care Group" Series:

This grief support group is intended to address the needs of people who have experienced the death of a loved one. It is a non-denominational grief education program. There is no charge to participate.

The program provides
  • A variety of speakers and video presentations exploring several topics regarding the grief journey.
  • Information about grief and the grief process.
  • An opportunity to express your questions, concerns and feelings about death, loss and grief.
  • Small group discussion in a safe, caring environment. It will allow you the opportunity to connect with others who can relate to this experience.
  • Reading materials and resources will be available on the subjects discussed.

Hastings Area Grief Support

This group provides weekly topics that promote reflections on the grief experience with guest speakers to share professional and first hand knowledge followed by small group discussion.

‘Grief Share’ Support Meetings

This is a 14-week support group series for those grieving the loss of someone close. It offers a Christian perspective as a nondenominational gathering that features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. Included in each meeting - video sessions from top experts, discussion of workbook materials and small group sharing.

The Compassionate Friends

This group offers support to families who have experienced the death of a son or daughter, a brother or sister or grandchild. They understand that when a child dies, no matter the age the family experiences intense pain and may feel hopeless and isolated. Group support meetings are offered as listed below, quarterly newsletters and a helpful website at www.stpaulcompassionatefriends.org
