**PLEASE NOTE REVISED CELEBRATION OF LIFE SCHEDULE:

Barbara Louise Hogan was born December 20, 1950 in Minot, North Dakota to Percy and Barbara Doyle.  She was raised for most of her life in St. Paul and graduated from Park High School in 1969.  She started working at the MNDOT Library shortly after graduation where she met many of her lifelong friends and enjoyed working until her retirement in 2010.

Barbara was married to Rick Hogan on October 11, 1974 at the St. Paul Cathedral.  She enjoyed the bond that was created with other families in the Colby Hill Neighborhood where they raised their family.

She enjoyed swimming, social activities and was the world’s craftiest crafter!  Barbara was a loving and devoted mother who looked forward to taking her kids to their sporting events.  She was known by many as “Ma Hogz”.  She was a proud and loving grandmother.

She is survived by children Chris, Ron (Katie), Nick, Laura (Chris) Zenk; grandchildren Samantha, Benjamin, Joshua, Gabrielle, Alex, Monroe, Amelia, Eli; brother Mick and dear friend Sheila.  She is preceded in death by husband Rick; parents Percy and Barbara; siblings Mary Ann, Patrick and Jeanne.

Private committal service will be 1 pm, Friday, April 9, 2021 at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, St. Paul Park.  A celebration of Barb’s life has been rescheduled and will be held on a date to be determined in June.  Please check back for updates.
