Carol Joan Dorn, age 83, of Woodbury, passed away on December 18, 2020.

Carol was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania on February 12, 1937. She grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Muhlenberg High School in 1954. Carol was a dancer and taught dance to children in an orphanage. She met her husband, George, and they eloped on February 1, 1956, in Elkton, Maryland. Carol moved to Minnesota with George and they raised 4 children.

Carol loved the Lord with all of her heart and was an incredible prayer warrior. You could count on her to pray for anything you needed at any time of the day or night. Her family was everything to her. She was always ready to offer you a bottle of water and something to eat. She loved taking trips to Reading, Pennsylvania and Atlantic City, New Jersey. She loved Christmas, 50s music, playing POGO, playing the slots, buffets, and going out to get a good hamburger with onions and a Coca-Cola.

There are a few very special individuals from Woodbury Health Care Center we'd like to thank for going above and beyond to make a difference in Carol's life.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Dorn.

Carol is survived by her children, Fred (Kristy) Dorn, Brenda (Craig) White, Darrell (Cary) Dorn and Stephanie (Jack) McGrane; grandchildren, Danielle (Michael) Grieme, Jessica (Andy) McPherson, Jon Dorn, Jake Dorn and Julia Dorn; Sabrina (Jared) McGrane; Anthony Agre and Tania Agre; 1 great-granddaughter, Harper McPherson.
