Marcia Halterman

Marcia Ann Halterman was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world suddenly and was reunited with her late mother Naomia Franklin; step-father Timothy Franklin; husband Dale Halterman and son Cody, on June 16, 2022 at the age of 57 years.

Marcia is survived by her father Mike Harmon; sister Suzette (Todd) Sherburne and loving son Shawn (Jessica) Halterman. Marcia was a proud and loving grandmother to her two grandchildren, Hayden and Gavin.

She was very excited for another grandchild on the way due in August. Marcia was the mother to all of Shawn and Cody’s friends as well, welcoming them into her home and treating them all like her own children. Her bright smile, outgoing personality and infamous chipped beef dip will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A short memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, June 22nd with visitation starting at 2:00 pm until the time of service at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th Street S., Cottage Grove. Private interment at Cottage Grove Cemetery.
