Mauricio Arnoldo Gomez, age 58 of St. Paul Park, passed away June 13, 2020 at home surrounded by his beloved family.

Mauricio Gomez was born on March 1st, 1962 in El Salvador. He grew up with 8 siblings and was raised by his two loving parents Mauricio and Maribel. On April 23rd,1988 he married his soulmate and best friend, Telma Ruano. He fathered two children and always stood by their side. His occupation in El Salvador was to assist the government to develop better road systems. Due to the civil war and two earthquakes, he and his family emigrated to the US in 2001 in hopes of a better future. Once in the US he reunited with his parents and siblings. Since then he devoted his whole life to his family. He was a hard worker and inspired many people around him. In June 2013, he was diagnosed with brain cancer and battled for 7 years.

He is survived by his beloved wife Telma, youngest son Xavier, eldest son Alex and his children with wife Blake, Leonardo and second grandson on the way, mother Maribel and siblings and family. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Private services are planned.
