Rosemarie Yunker

Rosemarie Yunker, age 85 of Cottage Grove, passed away Dec. 4, 2021 from brain cancer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am, Friday, December 10, 2021 at The Church of St. Rita, 8694 – 80th Street S., Cottage Grove with visitation one hour prior.  Interment will be at the Resurrection Cemetery.

Rosemarie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She was treasured by many for her ardent Christian faith, her love of the Lord and his One, Holy, Catholic Apostolic Church.  Her lifelong devotion to Mary and her promotion of her by sharing the Miraculous Medal with fellow Christians was an inspiration to others.  She enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom where she dedicated her life to being an ideal wife and mother.  The friendship and love she gave made everyone feel cared for and she had a feisty spirit and a mischievous sense of humor.

Rosemarie was preceded in death by her husband William; daughter Gail; parents Thomas and Louise Kane; sisters Patricia (Albert) Rivet and Mary Brower; brother Donald Kane and several relatives.  She is survived by her children Brenda (Charles) Jeske, Barbara (Richard) Alm, and William Yunker; grandchildren Heather (Daniel) Britz and Robert Alm; great grandchildren Xander Britz and Audrey Britz.
