Zachary Medina, age 20, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 18, 2020 in Cottage Grove, MN. Zach was born on November 8, 1999 to Lisa and Dean Medina. He graduated from Park High School in 2018 and began working as an apprentice electrician. He loved his family, friends, and dogs Lola (Blondie) and Emma. He had many hobbies that included drift-car racing, dirt biking, motorcycles, snowboarding, skateboarding, football, rebuilding cars and trucks. Zach had a caring heart and was the life of the party. He loved to make others laugh with his witty one-liners, sarcasm, goofy belly laugh and crazy stunts. Zach is survived by his mom Lisa, sister Kali, his dad Dean, grandmothers: Isabelle Jeske and Josephine Medina, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Zach was preceded in death by his grandpas: Warren Jeske and Alfredo Medina.
A memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the Ridgetop Banquet Facility: W10516 US Hwy 10, Prescott, WI, 54021 (note: Venue is actually in River Falls but has a Prescott address). A virtual memorial service will be available on Facebook Live on Lisa Medina’s personal account at 6 PM for those who are unable to attend or have health concerns due to Covid-19.
